Title Deeds

Hey All

Please can anyone tell me if i could do this:

I dont know why, but i have in my possesion the tilte deeds to my house, which i believe is unusual as i have a mortgage of 50k outstanding. What i want to know is if i can turn round to my mortgage company and tell them i'm not paying any more of my mortgage off.

Slim chance to get mortgage free.. lol

    Titles are usually registered electronically centrally these days, so the deeds have little value in real terms
