Am I likely to be repossessed?

Hello all,
In September last year I split up with my wife, we are now divorced. The mortgage hasn't been paid for a year and so NR want to repossess on Tuesday. I have good reason why I haven't paid the mortgage and have noted this to NR and the court. These are that although I can afford the mortgage I am not happy to pay it while her name is still on it as this gives her 50/50 rights over the house. Northern Rock need to look at my finances and see that I can afford to pay it so it all rests on the judge and NR. I have shown every possible way that I am not trying to dodge this responsibility and want to start paying the mortgage properly. What do you think my chances are?
Any advice greatly received.

I believe that NR will consider that to be a matter between you and your ex wife.
If the mortgage is not paid they will reposses.0 -
I have been in constant contact with NR who are being incredibly slow in getting forms to me to get her name off of the mortgage and to see if I can afford which is why it has led to going to court next week.0

You took on the responsibility of the mortgage and you were jointly and severally responsible for maintaining that committment.
By not maintaining the mortgage payments you have also incurred considerable court costs that will have been added to the outstanding balance, if the repossession goes ahead on Tuesday further costs are likely to be incurred, thus increasing the balance outstanding to NR further.
So now your credit history is in tatters, if the repossession goes ahead you will never be able to be named on another mortgage so I am stuggling to see how you have behaved responsibly? You should have just sort legal advice in relation to the settlement that your wife could expect, and had a legal document drawn up.I am a Mortgage Adviser
