tree stump removed

Hello
I need a tree stump removed from my gardens (its slap bang in the centre of it).
Contacted a company last year (yes 2008) they called out to view the stump and quote a price. I agreed to go ahead with them as they cut down the tree a few months earlier and were grand, but I am still waiting for them to call again.
I contacted them at the start of the summer to see why they hadn't been in touch and was told that it would be done in the next few weeks, several months later and still waiting.
Can anyone recommend a company/person who can do this.
