Two weeks today & still waiting for ....

Hubbie went BR two weeks ago, and although has had the OR interview (went very well - no IPA and will contact in 3-4 months to review)

Lloyds TSB bank account still seems to be active (checked online), not heard a sausage from them but maybe their own financial problems are keeping them busy  How long would you normally expect to wait to hear whether they are going to turf you out or keep you on ?

Creditors have gone scarily quiet - it's unnerving, have they been told and are ok or do we still have a torrent of abuse to look forward to ?

Kind of expected BR to be this big thing and it's just not been and although we want to fling our hands in the air, run screaming around like loonies and generally celebrate, we just have this nagging doubt that somethings waiting to pop up and get you.

Is this normal ?

Dont get me wrong BR was 100% the right thing to do and totally happy we went for it but just feeling a bit unsettled and the lack of activity and not sure how to move forward.

So in short a bit  but want to know we can :j

EVERYONE's had that feeling me as well..99.9% of the time though it's very very quiet & you'll hear nothing from the OR now till discharge

    Is this normal ? Perfectly....see above :D

Nothing to stop you moving on with life now! :D

Oh heck hope not ! OR did say during interview that they had no interest in this account and would tell the bank, they would then get in contact if it was going to be a problem. We went into Lloyds just before BR and staff hadnt got a clue whether he would be able to keep the account - you say BR and they look like bunnies in headlights !!

Do you think hubbie should contact bank to see what they want to do, if they say no, will get a Co-op or other, just want to get it sorted.

Thanks for your help & good to know not alone on the anti-climax blues. You say BR and it brings out these big dramatic images of Dickenison debtors prisons, reality - thankfully! - is so different ;)

i'd contact the bank TBH...in the past some people have been allowed to keep some have lost....IF the receiver has no interest then it really is up to the bank...they could however close the account (not one of the most BR freindly banks TBH)
