Going br soon

Hi all,

I am going br soon hope to do it in the next 3 weeks or so,have only paid token payments for the last 3 months to 7 creditors.
Barclays have now informed me by txt that mercer have my debt now,so I guess my debt has been sold for 16p in the pound!
They have no more power than barclays do they ? This is what i have been told anyway.

Hi skintboy,

Barclays will have already provisionally have written off their loss anyway. Now its with Mercers...(& yes 16p in the £ `sell-on` rate is about right)...you should not encounter any issues if you are aiming to `do the deed` within next few weeks. Thats far to soon for Mercers to get their act together.

I`ve been having 6 months of letters from Mercers...in my case my creditors are playing party games & its `pass the debt` at the moment.
