Hello all
What shops are the best for whoopsies? And does any one know the best times/days to frequent these shops?
I see bread all the time in tesco's but that seems to be about it!
Looking forward to your advice!

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Asda's are good, a wide range of products in the larger stores, anytime after 7 it seems.0

Try Tesco's on a Sunday about 3.00pm, loads of bargains in my local shop then0

It really does depend on the area you live and the store. I am fortunate in that I can shop anytime any day, but have yet to work out the ideal time. I do make a practice of only buying when very reduced thoughSealed pot challenge 5430

Sainsbury's meat counter 9 am thursday morning. They reduce lots, great for stocking up the freezer!"Live each day as if it were your last and garden as though you will live forever"

You have to find, in each shop, the section where they put all their reduced items - most supermarkets have a particular fridge space where they put everything. Somerfield by me has 2 places - one for uncooked meats/fish etc and one for coleslaws/pies/cooked meats etc. There is also another shelf for tins/jars/crisps etc.
Somerfield had some good reductions tonight when I went in, got 75% off loads of stuff, bought 3 loaves of Warburtons bread, 6 petit pain, 6 Warburton brown rolls, 2 Kos lettuce, 7 bananas, 2 tuna pasta bakes, 2 cod fishcakes, 1 huge rump steak (enough for 2 people), 2 packs of 8 good quality sausages, a cheese pasty and a steak pasty for just under £7.
I think Tescos are really good as well but you have to get there just as they're reducing, they seem to knock things down to pennies some days!Sometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
