I have leggings from marks and spencer, H&M, new look and top shop, but my best ones are actually from primark believe it or not. They have not gone at all saggy, have very strong lycra so 'hold you in', haven't gone bobbly or washed out in colour, however I have had them a year now and they have started to go a bit thin on the inner thigh so need new ones. The length was fine for me (ankle length) and I am 5'8, I have found most others too short TBH, more like pedal pushers.

My primark leggings were £1.50 and I have 2 pairs, so £3 a year on leggings is not too much to pay, however I must admit the thought of paying £400+ on leggings make me nauseous! Obviously I'm not into my designer stuff (I make and customise my own things, or buy on the high street or in charity shops) but I really am in shock over that! MSE???

i had a pair from primark , the first time i wore them they split at the crutch :o

    and they went baggy

i have a pair of vera mode leggings that are lovely quality but a bit too short in the leg .. i want good quality long leggings :D

Ive got the 'simple' pvc leggings... I know theyre expensive, but as I said earlier, you couold 'try and fail' with a couple of pairs of ten quid leggings, OR, buy one pair of REALLY good quality ones, which will last and never loose their shape.
I wear mine at least once a week, so although the outlay is expensive, they will last and last. Thus making them very moneysaving!

but you would have to try and fail 48 pairs at that price :rotfl:

I got mine from Dorothy Perkins. They have regular and long length and mine do not go baggy on the knees. They are £12. They may have longer ones in their tall range but I didnt look as the long ones were long enough for me.

thanks ice .. i will check DP out.. i work for the NHS so will get a 10% discount there :T

I love them, as I never wear trousers, only dresses and skirts..so for chilly days they are a must as I can't stand tights sometimes, - have a bit of a thing about my feet getting too warm.
Like the ones above, that said I also have pairs from New lOok, Matalan and DP's all of which have been fine. I guess maybe as I have so many colours etc, I don't wear them enough to wear any pair out too quickly??

My favourites are from Topshop. I'm 5"7 and a 10/12 and they fit really well. They're the ankle length ones and were £15. They also do a tall version.

I have a pair of Primark ones which are good, but it took me three attempts to get the right size/length! They're very, VERY small fitting - the 10 I couldn't get over my calf! The 12 I got on but they were tight and too short. The 14 fit really well although tighter than my Topshop ones (like another poster says, they're strong Lycra and hold you in). So, might be worth a look in Primark, just make sure you try them on first! :)

I love leggings! I don't think anyone is too old as long as they have the right figure for them and cover them with a long top. I do think they should be avoided if you have larger legs though.
