I was getting jittery yesterday when I was saying "in 6 weeks time I'll be getting my hair done" "in 6 weeks time I'll be getting in the car"

We were doing the same when watching the royal wedding - 'we will be doing that in 5 weeks time'.
My brother asked my nephew (6) a few weeks ago who was getting married at the royal wedding and he said me and my oh :rotfl:

Who else had this thought this morning? - we can now say we are getting married next month, eek!
I thought exactly the same thing! :D

Also a friend of mine is coming to my wedding with her daughter who has never been to a wedding before and is so excited about shopping for a pretty dress and everything but the other day someone was talking to her about the royal wedding and she said "but we are going to a real wedding!" She's so cute! :T

This weekend we've been picking ceremony music, our vows & finalizing our gift list.
Will finally go bridemaid dress shopping next week, then I can make a final decision on the flowers.

Oh dear that is exciting! I've been so caught up with counting the weeks that I hadn't realised we're in May already.
Am I the only one who had a tear in their eye during the royal wedding vows? I don't know I'm going to keep it together in the day...
:grinheart It's Mrs Coupon now - saving and comping my way to a brighter future :grinheart

I suppose its a bit late to say hello now!
But I havent really thought to look for a forum here, my brain seems to have been so focusd on planning the wedding for the 9th of June, in beautiful Perth, (SCOTLAND, Not Oz). Although I hope the sun shines on that day.

Its all very exciting as Im now thinking how very close it is to the BIg day! We only got engaged in November but it seemed until a few weeks ago that we still had ages to go..but now..well it seems like time is speeding by!

My lovely husband 2b had his stag do on Saturday and my Hen day is on Saturday so they are helping with the countdown!

Im not sure our wedding has been incredibly moneysaving but we have tried to do things we wanted to do for the best price and I feel like we have had huge savings...as my wedding dress is fab and only cost 250 (+ another 70 for alterations!) but its so much more than I thought i could afford (good old charity shops) and bridesmaids dresses at crazy prices from debenhams! and we got lovely wedding stationary to go with our 'Scottish theme' that Im so pleased with them! Mind you we sent them out very early as we have guests travelling from quite a distance (H2b is from Derbyshire) and we knew they would need to sort travel& accomoadation as well as time off work (as wedding on a Thursday!)...

Sorry for waffle...sure folks not very interested...
    Jobs for this week:
    1. Order of service and print of
    2. Decide what songs we want to play whilst guest arrives at church
    3. put photos of 'us' as children and our first photo (where I look like Im about to jump of the hill rather than have my now H2b hold me or anything!! lol!):D on to DVD to be shown as guests arrive at church
    4. Continue to put table plan together, decide on table names (Scottish them but we not sure what to do!)
then it will be 5 weeks on Thursday to the day!

ok I will be quiet now!
Married 9th June 2011 my wonderful soulmate, Im so blessed! :T
