Dell Dual Core server for £159 plus VAT

Dell have the SC430 server with an upgrade on the processor to a Pentium 4 dual-core at 2.8GHz for £159.
RAM is 256 but only £20 more for 512MB.
80GB SATA
1 year on site warranty.
Not a flashy machine and you would need to add a sound card for games use, but these machines are extremely well built and will run 24x7 forever (well maybe). I'm not sure how they compare to the recent 5100 offers on here.
Delivery is nasty at £49+VAT, though many people report being able to get that price down or cancelled.

Here's the link for your convenience http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/products/features.aspx/servers_Q1_W10_pedge_SC430_SC044303?c=uk&cs=ukbsdt1&l=en&s=bsd
As a server its a very basic config which is suitable for very basic tasks. I'd advise against using it as a PC since its not particularly upgradeable and I'd be concerned about the noise. Servers are generally are a lot noiser than PC's0 -
the processors alone are the cost of the package!!!

It's also probably going to be really noisy - most servers are stuck in rooms out of the way where no-one cares how much noise they make.0

Very good deal, shame I have no use for one, but you could probably sell the parts on eBay an turn a profit0
