Nr Together Mortgage

same as alot of ppl on here have a together mortage 40k plus 15k(unsecured) if i was to sell at 50k ,would the would nr allow me too keep 15k unsecured and the rest towards(and i stress towards obviously would need more) a deposit ? or would they tale all and leave me with 5k unsecured ???

You'd be able to keep on the secured loan, but the interest rate would rise. Phone NR to get an idea of how much you'd have to pay. Remember this might have an impact on the amount of mortgage you can get on your new house.

Thanks for that ,do u think my unsecured rate will go up significantly ???

im sure no-one will probably b able to answer this but (have asked about mortgages in ireland b4 but no takers lol, will this have an impact on a future mortgage in Ireland(R.O.I) ?? as i have had conflicting views as to whether my credit rating will effectively start over again there as i cant take it with me (that sound realy daft lol,hope u understand wot i mean)

Someone else asked this earlier and were told it could go up by 3%, 5% or 8% - best to phone them

No idea about ROI mortgages I'm afraid, or how it works. If you're moving there, wouldn't it be better to rent first?

totally intend on renting for around 6mths ,if i dont have a credit rating established there it will take atleast this long if not more before we could take a mortgage on ,quite honestly i was just wondering about ,lol .i know its a way off but i like to be prepared
