Don't buy chocolate chips for the cookies, a bar of chocolate chopped up is cheaper. Value choc is fine in cookies IMO.

Raw cous cous is only 70p in Sainsburys, mix in all veft over veg and salad, a little balsamic vinnegar and you have a lovely cous cous salad.

    Would bring you to £14.97

Well, party all over now, thank goodness! Everyone had a great time, just thought I'd update the thread on what i did incase it helps anyone else!

Used butter and flour i already had to make quiche pastry - (actually made more than i needed but not enough for another base and had no idea what to do with the rest? if there are any ideas..) added 2 eggs- 30p and some cheese £2 and onion 10p
Used butter and flour and sugar already had and 4 eggs (58p) to make the fairy cakes also added some pink food colouring (38p) and only swirled it through a bit making the cakes look marbled - really nice effect also used this colouring and icing sugar i already had to ice the cakes- came out hot pink and tasted brilliant - decorated with some silver balls and used these to spell DD's name!
Used bread flour and yeast to make pizza dough and a kind of tear and share garlic cheese bread (£1-flour yeast i had and 20p for garlic)
pineapple chunks were 70p i think for quite a big tin and i put some on pizza and some on a tray with pickled onions (i had) and cheese cubes etc
made white chocolate chip cookies using flour -48p and butter -78p brown sugar (i had) and chocolate chips 50p
cheese straws- puff pastry 78p and some of the cheese again
bought some salad things which came to about £1.50 ish which no one touched lol!

Also bought some cartons of juice with disney princesses on them for 49p for 3
    so 98p
    bottles fizzy juice £2

so all in £11.78 if i've added it right and quite few cookies left couple fairy cakes but that's it.

Glad everyone liked the food but this thread definitely inspired me to bake more and the pizza was so good am going to try the dough again today!
