Hiya,
plz can someone help, my mum has just died and obviously life has stopped for us. We have just realised that our first home was owned by my mum and she didn't leave a Will! (We were literally living in the hospital for 6 weks, waiting for her to recover)
I am adament that my brother was joint owner, as he was the one who got the mortgage but he can't find the Deeds to the house. Is there anyway i can find out whether my brothers name is on the Deeds? Who can i call???? What can do??????????

Is there still a mortgage on the property as the bank may have the deeds.
