RO list on display

Went into Argos (Silverlink, Wallsend) this a.m. to pick something up and noticed an easel with "Catalogue Reductions" (or words to that effect) plastered all over it, on display near the collection point. On closer inspection it turned out to be eight printed pages of RO list. Don't know if all stores are doing this but may be worth a look if you're passing your local one. Afraid didn't get chance to note any particular bargains as was in a rush.

Do you mean the catalogue clearance that most stores have?
It's a gold and black colour?

Yes my Argos has a few shelves at the back with clearance stuff on but usually only a few bits and bobs.

This was actually the print-out of the RO list from the computer which us mortals don't usually get to see (at least not in my Argos) and was just pasted onto this easel - it had loads of columns showing amount in stock etc etc.

I actually bought something from it (can't mention what) and had to borrow the old catalogue to see the item and it's description (came up as not found on in-store checker).

I asked the girl did they usually have the RO list on display and how often did it change - she said it was the stock from the old catalogue they were selling off and the list came out soon after a new catalogue was published but they don't usually put it on display.

our store havent done that before - instead we pick things from the list and fill up the top collection shelves with RO stuff. it'd be a good idea to havethe list up though (a couple of months after the new catalogues come out tho so that staff get first refusal!!) so that the stuff sold better!
