mine came this morning.problem was when i went 2 choose the crust color the button did nowt.i was stuck there 10 mins so in the end i pressed start and i've no idea wot crust color it'll b.is this a fault?

What loaf are you trying to make? I don't think the crust colour option is available on all settings. I usually make a basic loaf and can choose crust on that.

On mine the crust colour setting works for white bread (4 hours) but not on the wholemeal settings (5 hours)My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

hi.making a rapid wholemeal.it's due out @ 7.30.not sure wot it'll be like cos i was tired when i started playing with it and i got confused with all the diff 50%/100%/70%.so i was reading it wrong.i no how awkward wholemeal is 2 get right neway and me being tired won't have helped!!!!!!!!!!!!! so then i came in here and was checking out recipes.last BW was a cookworks ( a pressie) and that was useless).borrowed a morphy richards off my sis 4 most of last yr and that wasn't 2 bad.after having trawled thru threads here i'm still no nearer 2 getting a wholemeal recipe.don't eat white bread and i've usually gone 50/50 with the brown and white.0

Can guarantee the rapid brown/wholemeal loaf will work at treat..sometimes I just bung in pumpkin and sunflower seeds (even though the you're supposed to put in dispenser and for a longer recipe/ programme). Comes out lovely every time. I never bother with the 50%, 70% thing. I just do 100% wholemeal or brown
Just made a honey and sunflower loaf this afternoon and currently waiting for the machine to pop out my first white loaf. i don't normally eat white bread but I always think it makes better French Toast.

just had bread and butter.yum.yeah tastes on but the crust is rough and hard.one edge of the loaf is missing.strange.0

got another question and i can't find the answer in the panasonic book or the mega index.the 100% wholemeal tastes lovely BUT the crust is always 2 hard.how can i solve the problem?0

I always opt for the "light" crust then it is not too tough. I never make wholemeal loaves - just white and a mix on both the 4 hour setting and the rapid bake.0

i thought those 3 options were 4 the COLOR of the crust! i've bin going 4 medium.0
