question about request credit report ?

i have requested a copy of my credit repost , i have inluded in the request letter my full name with curretn and old address alongside a 2 pounds postal order, they took it s ono problem there

today I received a letter form cvall credit requesting 3 form of ID as apparently " they have strict data protection principles" even though they can put default against you without even checking the legality of it or if the debt is really attributed to you in the first place !

anyohh this 3 documents they ask is as follow from current and old address

- unexpired driving licence and counter part , i dont drive so no licence available,
- unexpured full old licence old style driving licence
- current council tax demand
- bank account statement don't see the need for them to have this as it contain a lof of private data .
- credit card statement i haven't got one and the old ones are with my OR !
- Mortgage statement i do not have any property
- firearms certificate or shot gun licence as if i have one
all document should be no more than 3 month old unless from a previous address I can actually supply only 2 different form of ID council tax and bank statement... so they are refusing to give me out this .... i am a bit peed off by this

they want original ?!?! funny enough if you order it online well they dont ask you all this infos before giving out all detail so why by post ?

I don't have phyically them i just wonder if it is normal for them to request so much docuemtn and very specific document i woudl though utility bills will be ok but apparently no ....

I have the impression it is an unecessary del;ay by them as i am not requestign their so call online services
