Haha..I don't often buy sale shoes..Never find any I like in the dross that is left behind. I usually buy the same brands, at previews so I have them before the official season comes out..Or failing that, ebay is my best friend!!

Not sure why you quoted me here, but I don't think women do "get their knickers in a twist" if someone is wearing the same shoes as them. I tend buy shoes in the sales becasue I'm loath to pay full price, as one, it's not very money saving and two, I'm tight like that :rotfl:

My sister paid £120 for a pair of shoes in Fenwicks (don't think Fenwicks could be described as cheap and nasty) because she had to have them there and then. I waited a few weeks and picked the same pair up (horrors, we have the same shoes!!) for £30.

I don't buy indiscriminately, I just usually wait until the ones I want are reduced.

Becasue apparently we are in times of economic and financial hardship, meaning not so many ppl can afford to buy them, so they still have some left when the next season stock comes in..??

But shops sell off the crap whatever state the economy is in. Why would a shop sell of something at a discount price if it knew it could get a higher price?
