    when i spoke to beacon home loans they said yes to a mortgage (at that time i had 5 defaults) but it put me off because it isnt portable

    a portable mortgage you can take with you to a new house if you want to move.non portable you cant.2 lenders told me about beacon and they both said yes,i also rang a few mortgage brokers out of the yellow pages and quite a few said that i would be able to get a mortgage but the thing we have going for us is that this house is owned outright
