Need help from 'whole of market' brokers

Please can someone advise me:

My situation: mature student income from student loan £5100 per year
Deposit of £25K from sale of existing flat (co-owned with ex partner) could have another 2K more
Want to buy a flat (dont fancy sharing, or halls of residence) for £110K
Will anyone even give me a mortgage, and if so what kind of rate?

My new B/F earns about 26K but he has a debt of 18K, but also dont know if we will be long term, therefor should he be named on the mortgage?
Since I am putting up the deposit, but he will help pay half of everything how do we write out an agreement? he says he just sees it as rent and doesnt expect anything if later i sell.

Thanks to anyone who can help.
x

To get the mortgage agreed you will need to have your bf on the mortgage - without him you will not get anywhere near the mortgage amount needed.

You will have to have a word with a solicitor about the best way of arranging this set - sounds like a tenants in common arrangement scenario would be best you at 99% and him at 1%
