Hey all
I need a vacuum cleaner shortly for my new flat. The flat has 2 double beds with carpets, rest is laminate flooring. So it will only have occasional use (2nd bed is spare room).
Can anyone recommend a good one under £50?
I have £60ish in Tesco clubcard vouchers so could use those to buy them if Tesco had one.
TIA

Just been to my local Tesco in Borehamwood and they have a fairly cheap upright cleaner from Samsung for about £60. It's a little under-powered then compared to the traditional brands.
As usual with Tesco, their display was a bit of a mess and they have other makes / models but it was unclear what the prices were.
I hope this helps.0 -
Not sure where you can get them from - ours was from TJ Hughes.... for £39.99
Dirt Devil Lightweight Compact Bagless Cleaner (cylinder not upright). Very compact ideal for carpet and laminate - and we have 2 dogs who insist on shedding lots of hair! Filters can be washed so no expensive replacements every few weeks. We actually think it's better than the Dyson we had previously.
Hope that helps :beer:0 -
Just got a Hoover model from Currys for £89 with the same specification as the model it replaces. Which is probably the same price that Tesco or Comet will be selling them for.
Vacuum cleaners have reduced in price over the years and I personally don't feel the need to chase around trying to get a better price.
Good luck if you can get a better price.0 -
thanks for those suggestions!
I've never bought one before so am clueless! I'll look at all those suggested.
Many thanks
