How to make a blind for child's bedroom

I'm hoping to put my house on the market soon and want to make it look presentable without spending much money. At the moment I have blackout material pinned up at my son's window to help him sleep. Could anyone suggest how to make an easy blind - I have some spare material and a sewing machine.
Many thanks

When I made a black out blind for my dd's room .. I bought a roller blind kit for about £13 from John Lewis.
The kit contains the roller and fixings not the material. HTH.GC - March 2024 -0 -
