hi
i'm in the process of setting up a business and will be looking for independent distributors to sell jewellery as well as a range of other stuff made mainly by british artists so supporting our craft industry. i was going to sell online as well but noted that it would put some off - would that also be the case if it was only available online at the full RRP, with the incentive to buy from a distributor at a discount?
i ask because my range will be very varied and some distributors may only wish to specialise selling just one area i.e jewellery, and not the whole lot
thoughts on this very much appriciated!
Hi Mellou
The company i work with does show the collection online, but you can't buy via them - you submit an enquiry for the product requesting the price and they then pass it onto your nearest consultant. I think this works well for us, although I know some customers do get frustrated at not being able to see prices online. I get round that by sending the customers a printed brochure that has the full product range in it together with full pricings.
Hope this helps.0 -

Hi Girl in Need
I've sent you a seperate pm.
I thought we were not allowed to post links on here but
notice that one was posted here so thought it would be okay to
post some.
I buy and sell Silver Jewellery and Body piercing jewellery from
Avantgarde Jewellery.
The links for them are:
www.ag-jewels.com
www.silver-thailand.com
I looked at alot of other companies but found they had too many restrictions, complicated processes and expensive start up costs.
Avantgarde dosen't have any of that and was ideal for me.
I only had to spend about 60.00 and was able to sell what i bought
where i wanted.
I hope this is helpful.
If anyone wants any more information then please feel free to pm me.girl_in_need wrote: »yes there is one call silver experience , I just google it . here's the website if anyone wants to look at it
