Re. Motley Fool:
If you get an email saying you are on their 'don't contact' list, this means you have previously signed up at that address and have subsequently unsubscribed. So unless you really want to receive the newsletter there's no point replying and taking yourself off the 'don't contact' list because Pigsback will only give you points for a first-time registration.
Any additional Motley Fool emails you receive at the same email address should probably be regarded as irrelevant for Pigsback points purposes.
If you get a welcome email WITHOUT the non-contact email, then you can safely assume you have officially joined Motley Fool.
As for the so-called verification email that you are supposed to repond to, no idea! Perhaps Pigsback got it wrong, or perhaps Motley Fool changed their mind about the way they process new members. Maybe someone could contact Pigsback and ask for clarification.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -

I thought you got a verification email that you then returned to complete the joining, but this just reads like I have joined. I did tinker with my preferences though to ask for the right email updates.
I shall await my points with bated breath!0 -

(Mind you, having said that... a lot could depend on the choice of hosiery.)

i got a chalk board today, clicked on it and it took me to the reporro page, but didn't give me any points. I thought the chalkboard was supposed to give you 10 points?

I don't get it...
Hi, not 100% sure. Just wanted to post incase it was useful. Nearly added something onto post, but thought somebody would soon either confirm or add something to clarify. Since posting earlier, found Motley Fool account can be accessed, as have just adjusted mailing subscriptions, so maybe the welcome email was the verification email and points are on the way for everyone.
Bowing out now, as don't want to cause any confusion!
