Holy Sh*t! I actually won a competition! I NEVER win things!
    Congratulations!! :) :j
Sorry Droopsnout, but when 1000 points suddenly appear in your account you HAVE to tell everyone! :p:D
Depends on your personailty. If you're Meldrew-esque, then you'd wait for something else to bring you down to earth (like the accidental cancelling of your PB account).

Not sure how I'd react, as I haven't won any points. Ever. That's never. I mean, never ever. Since June 2005. :(

PS sorry droopythights eeek - droopsnout!
Dear lady, at my age, it's not just my "thights" which are droopy!

That said, those bits where good hydraulics are essential are still functioning well. ;)

I rarely ever post in this thread, although I do occasionally like to say thank you as I am one of those fairly anonymous visitors who benefits from answers to quizes etc. I do appreciate all the information and as a result am now eagerly await £20 leisure vouchers. So thank you again everyone.

However I love to read all your posts though as it gives a wonderful insight into the varieties of human nature. I feel very sorry for poor Darragh who seems to have the weight of pigsback on his shoulders, when I am sure that others work there too. I love to hear when people win things. I have had no luck here but do win other things occasionally.

I read about generous people, impatient people (The points will get there in then end and even if they don't is it the end of the world?), intelligent people (crossworders etc), grateful and ungrateful people. And so I could go on. I'm sure if I was at Uni now I would want to do a paper on the psychology of internet forums. This would be such a good place to start.

Keep up the good work everyone. I learn more and more about human nature every day. It always makes me smile.

I take it you are (in part) referring to my post about 4 before yours, referring to me winning an easter egg, well IMO it is a sad world if I can't mention that I have won a prize when every 24 hours most of us enter a whole set of competitions on pigsback?? Why do you enter the comps then if you do not care if you win or not? Or are you above excitement from winning something??
Rachie, thank you for a perfect example of feminine logic! ;)

You begin by defending your right to post your happy news, but conclude that I enter comps even though I'm not bothered about winning. Where the connection comes, I've no idea.

I would advise you not take droopsnout's posts so seriously! Mostly they are written just for fun, and often just to provoke debate, or to inject some humour. Sometimes they are part humour, part dig.

It made me giggle that you cant see the connection in my statement but haven't got such a grumpy head on this morning so shan't worry my brain in trying to unravel what I meant :p

Dont worry, I see where you are coming from, or at least I think I do.... :rotfl:

The ironic thing is about winning the Easter Egg is that one of the other threads that I frequent on here is the lose weight thread as I am on a diet! So if anyone wasnt to swap their zillion piggy points for an egg let me know!! :D

Droopsnout dear, change your siggy back again, we need to know whether Obelix is ever going to get his gardening done! :p

And I'm missing your usual avatar already. *sniff* :( Tell Obelix to hurry back, just as soon as he and Asterix have finished eating the bear cub's mother! :D

  • I've been reading the board for a few days now. I thought I'd say hello.

Also I was wondering if anybody knows what I should do.
I've had no problem with pigsback until now. I've ordered 2 boots vouchers in two different weeks and they still haven't arrived. The website said ask your local post office about it and all they said that it was the company's responsability and that there's no problem with the service at the moment, which didn't help me very much. I was going to get my boyfriend a nice present with the two vouchers but now I cant :(

Does anybody know what else I could do?

I ordered 2 x Boots vouchers over 3 weeks ago, and they have just arrived this morning.
How long ago did you order them?
