    Hi all

Not posted for a while as was fed up with the thread and all the bickering (seems to have calmed down a bit). have just read through the last couple of pages on the last thread and the 6 pages posted today but can't find a link to todays crossword, can someone point me in the right direction please.

It was much easier to follow answers to questions and crossword when it was posted just after midnight can the people responsible for this please come back, you know who you are, THIS THREAD NEED YOU!!!

ps before someone jumps on the bandwagon I'm too dumb to answer them myself!! :rotfl:

Just started comping again, wish me luck!!!

There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Ahem - pls be nice to all MoneySavers! :money:

I understand your point on this, being a lecturer I have it all day long and am shocked at the poor spelling/grammar/punctuation that comes my way (even on application forms!), however I think it would have been nicer if you could have approached the poster in a polite, well written and well thought out pm, instead of publicly humiliating them in this flippant manner, IMHO!
Part of being nice to other Moneysavers is to do what you can to make your post clear and understandable. We don't all have degrees in English, Linguistics, etc., and I certainly don't expect punctuational perfection! But I do expect an effort to be made.

I'm eternally grateful to Lynne Truss who has allowed me once again to stand up with dignity and say that punctuation really is important. And yes, I am one of those "Grumpy Old Men" who insist on "different from " and not "different to", and who abhors the American "different than".

HOWEVER, much of my entertainment and education on this site comes from people who may not be good spellers, grammarians or punctuators (?), but who have other skills and knowledge which they are sharing.

So, peeps, please DO post, and don't worry about the niceties. We can all tell whether someone has made an effort to communicate effectively, or whether they just don't care.
