Evening ladies
How are you all?
There's some wonderful cards been made recently, you're all so clever!
My OH is still off work, his sciatica isn't getting any better really and he's waiting to go back to hospital on 27th to get all his results (please keep fingers crossed they'll be ok)
Anyway, I don't know about you, but my heart is breaking every day at the moment each time I see those poor little Haitian orphans on TV. I just want to be able to help them in any way I can.
Hence I've started this blog, I might not be able to do much, but surely every little helps?
P.S. For all internet purposes, I'm Sally - lol have been for years, but I've had to use my real name for this blog!

If you want a good laugh look here . My hubby bought me new storage and a desk for my craft room at xmas and he packed up and moved everything out to do the shelves. This is just some of the chaos waiting to be sorted . Hopefully now i'll feel ashamed enough to sort it. lol.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

CT, Thank you for the gorgeous butterflies, can't wait to use them!!
Rainmac, sorry to hear about the poorlies, it really get's my goat when any sort of rash turns out to be blummin viral, my eldest seems particularly seceptible.
Sorting out my office/craft room. Just finished making the new cockpit workstation tonight so should be able to post a pic in next few days once everything is reorganised, then I can start crafting again!!

Morning ladies,
Just a quick one from me as I have to go get DD from nursery!
Just nipped into Lidl and they have scotch mounting squares and also scotch adhesive rollers for £1.49 each, I love the mounting squares ever since craftygranny gave me some in a hige box of stash and they are cheaper than buying from scotch. Not sure if it is every lidls but worth a look if you are after some as they are even more expensive on ebay!
Flourgirl - Glad it arrived safely xxx thankyou!
Crafty granny I can always rehome some of your stash if you want :rotfl: Can't believe how much stuff you have! :eek:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Wow craftygranny, that's a serious amount of stash
Flourgirl, love your name cards, they are so beautiful, so what's the new toy like?
Ali, thanks for the tip about Cardmaking & Papercrafting, need to try and pick that up, would love some free spring papers x
Well been back to the GP today with both monkeys, DS1 has a hole in his eardrum and it's leaking yellow gunk and DS2's ears are blocked and GP said his eardrums will pop too. Poor fellas, they are going stir crazy at home but are poorly so can't exactly send them to school. DS1's ears are so blocked he has gone deaf. Now got anti-biotics for both of them so hope they will be back to normal by the weekend. I've managed to do so little this week, hope to make a card or two over the next couple of days using a couple of my new stamps. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
OUCH!!!!
Leaky eardrums not good at all! I had that when I was in 6th form and can still remember the pain - I was on morphine for 2 days in hospital
Hope those monkeys get better soon and that it's less painful when you're younger.0
