Hello all and thanks again for being 'inside out' for us.
Not sure what to make of it all but seems the 'mass of stuff' (whatever it is leftover from an infection) hasn't shrunk any more.........but on plus side hasn't grown either  'Boffin' did much scratching of head etc. and said he'd see OH in 5 weeks time and see if it had shrunk any more all on its own............no more antibiotics. If it hasn't then he'll send him off for further CT scan............. Tried to get out of him what if......? but got blank 'boffin' type expression.....
Then I mentioned OH's leg...............his left one gives him gip sometimes when he's been walking...........so 'boffin' has OH's shoes and socks off (brave man!!) says OH's feet cold and had a job to get a pulse in left one.
If that gets any worse OH will have to see Vascular chappie (think I remembered that right) about circulation/arteries................. (began to with I'd kept mouth firmly zipped !)
Still there doesnt seem to be any 'urgency' so I'm working on that to give me the 'relief' factor.
Oh dear.................have we reached that stage/age in life when our days out are visits to doctors and hospitals ? Lets hope not..............lol:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Rusty - I got an email as well - no mention of free p&p & kept checking their website - but nothing. Have Craftwork Cards put up their prices as well??? I thought they were cheaper - maybe its just me:rolleyes:
Mary - ooh it is hard knowing what to make when the people "in the know" - dont give much info - but yes - lets take it as good news that it has not got any bigger - and sending hugs to you as sometimes it is more stressful for the people closest ((hugs)).

    Happy birthday bunbun!!

well done on your win Padster :j

Choccy and Rainmac - thanks for the lovely Xmas cards, I am hoping to get mine sent off in the next few days. Note to self - start making them earlier next year!

Mary hope everything goes ok for Mr when he goes back, what a shame they couldnt really tell you anything more today xx

choccy hope you're feeling better soon

rusty I was looking out for the free postage offer from craftwork cards but they never bothered with it, I even emailed them to query it but they never responded - how rude! will wait until the new year now as I am hoping they might give free postage as a new year sales offer or something like that!

ali - their card candy has gone up from £1 to £1.50, quite a big increase on that!
  • Rusty - Brandon is much better today thanks - he doesn't half exaggerate at times! Elliot is okay too - he's teething at the minute so I am forever wiping up pools of slobber!!!! I am really excited about xmas - the kids are too - they're counting down the hours! Your card for your OH is lovely - such a cute pair!!! You are generous offering some blog candy - I wont enter though I've got that stamp - I've got loads of those fairies!

Marg - thanks - bless you! My other son is never off school - he's a little trooper - its just Brandon - he seems to catch everything!

Tomsmom - no you're not alone - I annoy myself with how long I take.

Flourgirl - fab xmas cards - I love the red and the gold together - and that xmas card is great - looks really complicated though!

Sally - as always your cakes are fabulous - love the tinsel!

Paddingtondoo - congrats on your wins - you are lucky at the minute - I agree the new anyas are gorgeous!

Bunbun - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - hope you've had a fab day!

Chocolate.orange - hope you recover soon!

    Nannyboo - fabulous xmas cards!

Mary - glad your hospital visit went okay - sorry the boffin wasn't more helpful!

  • Happy Birthday BunBun!

I've not been around for a few weeks as I've been so busy at work, I've not even had 5 minutes to myself to check my personal email during lunch let alone blogs and forums. We had a few new starters so I'm being asked questions all the time and we've got a deadline soon on a website, but I love it and December has flown by.

I've not made any cards since sending out my Christmas cards, but am looking forward to starting up after Christmas and also working on my Wedding Scrapbook.

I'm going to Hobbycraft in Woking on Friday as I'm there for doctors - so it'd be rude not to pop in on the way home!

If I don't get a chance to chat on here before Christmas - I hope you all have a fantastic time.

Rusty I have just finished reading Kims book and it wasnt brilliant, very sad story though but glad I had it from the library I wouldn't buy it.

Mary Sorry things weren't as positive as you both would have liked but at least its nothing urgent. Lets hope things start to get better on there own. Fin gers crossed for your next visit.

Gemm I think C.C putting the candy up 50% had put me off a bit. I got fed up with waiting for the free p&p.

    Nannyboo Another 2lbs = 8 in total :)

Hi All, just popped in on passing! :D

If you are going to Hobbycraft hhubby, you may be interested in this printout-erable voucher for £5 off a £25 spend?

Although this may seem to be condoning such behaviour! :rotfl: Valid from 29/10/09 - 24/12/09

    Merry Christmas All! :santa2:

Oh no! How dare you force me to spend a minimum of £25 in hobbycraft! I will print the voucher just in case. Thanks very much :D
