Sorry Paddington but I don't think I will have the time again this month for an ATC swap, maybe it will be a good idea to wait until January

Fab cards everyone!
Glad you had a great birthday Rainmac.
How cute are your kittens Gemma am glad you're now scabby and not oozy.
OH has been painting today - house looks like a bomb site. Rang roofing company this morning as patch on bedroom wall had grown with all the rain over the weekend - they turned up within an hour to have a look and will fix it by the end of the week - chimney flashing needs redoing and they have to replace the bottom metre of felt so will take 3 guys and some scaffolding .
Am so glad I ordered my scorpal yesterday or I might have been banned from spending :rotfl:. I also got this for DD just waiting for it to be delivered thought it was great value plus she won't need to borrow so much of my stash then.
12 days of Xmas blog candy starting on Sugar Nellie tomorrow
thanks padster, how annoying about your leak! hope they manage to fix it without causing you too much disturbance!!
how precious of your cat to have hiccups! aww, its not like you can just tell them to hold their breath either!0 -
Fab news on your ribbons win Rusty
Padster, sorry to hear about your leaking roofI was thinking about not doing a card swap for December as I am swamped with things to do and assumed everyone else probably is as well. Start afresh in the new year I think
Is that ok with everyone?
I've posted winner for my blog candy, card swap and Post Pals card challenge. Well done ladies :T :T :T Will be popping goodies in post when I get 5 minutes to sort it out (probably next week if that's ok), it's mad this week as I have 2 fairs at the weekend and I am also helping organise both of them  I will need hospitalisation by Sunday night. My new years resolution needs to get more of a backbone and learn to say no:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Myz - lovely things on your blog - you have been busy!
Rusty - congrats on your win!!
Well done to all other winners!
Rainmac - good luck for your craft fairs.0 -
I've got a question for you
. Since joining this thread last week I've been motivated to make a start on my card making again. I've ordered some new goodies and my Cuttlebug arrived this afternoon :T .
So, I've read about and checked out digi stamps, I hadn't heard of them before. I've saved a couple of the freebies and they are lovely Christmassy ones. I was just wondering what type of card you print them on to and what you're using to colour them in. Do you heat seal the ink when it's finished printing so it doesn't smudge or anything?0 -

I use basic white card that I tend to buy from ebay, something not too thin but not too thick it gets stuck in the printerI colour with Promarker pens which colour like a felt tip but without the 'lines' if you know what I mean. You could use chalks or pencils too. Images tend to be much cheaper than stamps and you can re-size them to suit what you want to use them for and as you have said, there are freebie ones available too
I've just bought an ultra cute stamp from Pink Gem, this one...

Mary - how are you and Mr Mary today?
Got my boys' advent boxes to wrap and all 24 pressies x 2 to wrap tonight, nothing like the pressure of leaving it all to the last minute :wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
:j:j:j Doing the happy dance :j:j:j Rusty won the ribbons!
Yay! it was me
I'll ask Monica about the sweet treats cups, flourgirl.
Cracking card, rainmac, I love Pink Gem! I'm all behind like a cow's b*m this month, loads of stuff still to do so I wont be able to do any challenges this month.
I'll be away for Christmas and the New Year, yippee! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
