lovely cards everyone, dawn, polly, rainmac, the wife :T

thanks for all your lovely words about our cat, we are all trying to remember the positive side, that she's in a better place now and not in pain any more.

hamish hope your cat's tests on friday go OK, they must be so frightened when they don't really know whats going on

here's the list of entries I've seen so far for the stitching challenge:

    flourgirl
    rusty
    rainmac

if you've posted a card and I've missed it please do let me know as sometimes I can't see the wood for the trees.... or as my OH says I " look but don't see...!" :D

it's open until monday night so still plenty of time to enter, and remember it doesn't have to be actual stitching with thread, a dotted line to imitate stitches around an image or along a border will do!!

Sadly not - I was at work (shh don't tell the boss!) but when I read that about Aldi I thought - "now theres a good excuse to nip into Hobbycraft" :D

oooh bet you'd rather have been in hobbycraft with us lol. Although it was busy when we were in it was much quieter last week when we went about half six.

I could literally spend hours and hours in hobbycraft just gazing at all the stuff  if only I were a millionaire... sigh :D

too right I would even with a nearly 4 yr old throwing a wobbler. Got to be more fun than dealing with my boss (and she's probably more reasonable!)

I have just been having a look at all the blogs and WOW!!! there are lots of stunning cards from you all :T:T:T I have left comments.

I have updated mine with a few photos of my trip this afternoon.

Hobbycraft is one of those places you go in for 1 thing and come out with a new hobby you didn't even know you were interested in lol. My DH doesn't mind taking me to the one in Sheffield as its next to PC World:rolleyes:

I wish I'd been looking out of the window this afternoon as the pic of you must have been taken roughly at the end of my garden :j I could have waved :rotfl:.

I have never been to Hobbycraft and daren't go :p. Have talked OH into taking me to the Papermill shop at York though as he's just upgraded the sky so he can watch football in HD :D. If anyone wants any of the calendar blanks they do or some sheets of card give me a shout as I can post them for far less than the £4.95 they charge
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

    Lovely cards again everyone.
I had 3 left to make before my hols. 1 down, 1 in plan and I've decided to buy the 3rd one. I know its cheating but I need to cut down on the chores - I have about a weeks work of work to fit in to 2 days at the day job and so many things I need to do before I go away that anything that is not essential has had to be removed from the 'to-do' list!
Rainmac, "&son" was naughty after rugby - turned on the tv when he knows he's been banned from it for the week so no cuttlebugging for him tonight. He's promised to be good tomorrow so we'll see!
Piccy of the one I have actually made on my blog

    Hiya everyone!

Sorry I have been AWOL for a bit but I had some health issues and decided to take a bit of time out from forum-ing! (if that's a word)

I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your support in the Scrapbook Apprentice competition. The winner will be announced in Novembers edition of Creativity!

As a thank you I have created two Christmas card kit giveaways, just for you, on my own personal blog (nothing for sale or anything like that):

    http://mrsclausblogs.blogspot.com/

Thank you so much again for all of your friendship and votes, it meant a lot to me.
