Polly your card is outstanding, the image is stunning, sorry if this has been asked before but how do you go about entering a card with the creative card crew?

Leave a comment and a link to your card on your blog or you can email a pic of your card. You should enter :D

Finding teabags in sachets was a pain. I ended up buying Liptons Yellow Label teabags (makes very nice tea) somewhere online. I sold them for £1 each. Here's a pic of some of mine... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/2009/08/some-craft-fair-bits.html
I did the post it note holders for £1.50 and these sold brilliantly too. They were my two best sellers ;)

Fab card polly , the image is fab isn't it. Rusty will be standing behind the door now with her hands out waiting for the postie to deliver her stamp lol.

daft question of the day could you use coffee /hot chocolate sachets instead of tea bags with a different poem obviously. told you it was daft. i was just wondering.

    Thanks for that Rainmac.

I'm really tempted to make some teabag holders and post it note holders to try and sell in work, my OH told me last night he was going to pop into the garden centre today to pick up some money trees as I seem to think we've got an endless money supply!

Craftygranny I was thinking that myself! I think hot chocolate would be lovely for christmas but all so sachets I see are long and not sqaure like the teabags!

Hello, I just posted this as a new thread but hoped some of you might be able to help. I'm a card maker (although not been ableto do any recently) and until starting up Post Pals I had made more cards than I had use for.

I wondered if you would consider sending something to a seriously ill child to make them smile? Post Pals helps children with cancer, cystic fibrosis, genetic conditions, those going through transplants etc by sending cards, letters and little gifts. Lately the kids have been getting very little post and we really need to boost it to be able to keep them smiling!

If you would like to make a child smile then please go to www.postpals.co.uk and follow the "5 easy steps" on the home page. You can send anything from a craft project to a card you made, to a picture your child has drawn or a postcard from where you live.

If you would like to see a video about how it helps, please see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l42sKtdPXrw

    Thank you

Vikki, some of us on this site are members of a fab craft forum called Crafty Place and we recently had a competition where we made cards and sent them to someone who then ran a competition to see who could identify who had made each card (so the objective was to disguise your own card making style ;)). All the cards made are to be sent to Post Pals children. If you want to have a look at what we got up to... http://craftyplace.yuku.com/topic/185?page=1

Hels, if you buy the latest copy of DoCrafts Creativity magazine it comes with a fab free Xmas stamp. I think the next issue is due out at the start of September so you'll have to be quick to get it ;)

I think they are the kind of little gift that people love to buy at Xmas, you should go for it.

Lidls do tea bags in individual sachets - think the ones I got were earl grey about 60p for 25 maybe? I can't remember.

For the calendars I saw one made on the front of a CD case somewhere so you tear the months off the tab and have the hinge at the top so it stands on the desk - can't remember where though
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
