flourgirl - your xmas cards are great, but my eye was drawn to the stunning cakes further down the page... I want cake now!
I've just had a minor panic attack - we're leaving for Vegas on Thursday and I still haven't made DD a birthday card. I want it to be really special as it's her 21st, but just can't seem to think of anything. I think the most appropriate stamp I have at the moment is the ff bear wearing a crown (freebie with a magazine - docrafts?). I've just ordered the ff bear with a bottle of champagne but don't think it'll arrive before we leave. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Don't panic!!! How about an easel card, gorgeous shaped card but really easy to make. I made a 6"x6" one (well made two actually cos loved doing the first one). 6x6 card uses 3/4 sheet of 12x12 cardstock.
I've just added pics of my fair onto my blog and written what sold well, what I only sold a couple of and what didn't sell at all... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thanks Rainmac - I actually made my first easel card last night with one of my penny black stamps from the NEC.
I followed your link through to a gallery of easel cards, so think I could possibly make one that's a lot more elaborate than my (rather simple) attempt.

Afternoon all
Sorry not had a proper chance to catch up on all of the posts. Just having a sneaky 5 minutes break as OH has gone to pick up our new dishwasher and SIL has taken the children to the park (how peaceful it is!!) I have been working loads over the weekend and we still have the small bedroom to empty and put DS's bed in there for my gran coming to stay on tuesday (she is here til beginning of december so approx 3 weeks!! )
Rainmac - Super dooper well done on your craft fair!!
Mumhug - I am about to send you a PM
Sorry I can't stay as I have to get some more stuff done before he gets back from comet!
Hope everyone is ok xxxRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
rainmac - just to say thankyou (again!), for the elf yourself link - your boys looked so cute - had to have a go - what a laugh hubby put us on as well - dont think I have ever seen him move so well - although slightly camp at times!!! Might also have a crack at the easel card - just a bit worried that it is not as easy as I will need it to be!0

rainmac - I just knew you couldn't fail with the craft fair..........well done :T
I can't find any piccys of Santa's key.........Wouldn't mind having a go at one of those for little grandson but not sure what its supposed to look like. Got loads of old keys kicking about I could use.
Thanks for magnets..............very kind of you. Now there's a thought, as someone thought they were christmas decorations, maybe they could be turned into just that:rolleyes: They'd be so easy to put on any sort of tree
Well done all you busy bees with the blogs and all the stuff you do..........so talented you all are:TI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Rainmac- well done, whats the item in the cake stand in boxes top left corner of first pic on the blog?
An easel card- ive no nesties to decorate do you think mine would look ok without?0 -
Hi Rainmac - sounds like you had a brilliant time. The school Christmas fair stall luckily had no foodie smells in the hall but I did have to endure 90 mins of 'busking' including bagpipes. Yikes!
Can I be cheeky and ask how much you sold your pegs for. I put 3 in a pack and sold them for £1.25 but didn't get much interest. Think I sold 5 or 6 sets. Was wondering if they sold better on their own.
A few people said that they had integrated appliances so couldn't really think where to attache them. Is it only me that hasn't got integrated appliances?
The stall wasn't all my stuff - it had been donated by other parents too but I shared the manning of the stall with one other lady. She's made 150 bags of reindeer food and had cut out the reinderr on each one by hand! I said I'd try and get hold of a reindeer die before next year to help her out a bit.
All in all the stall must have raised £150 ish although it was hard to tell because there was a complicated system of putting money for different things in different pots which I hope I managed to do properly.0
