I have finally booked my ticket for the NEC:j I am so excited:j:j I just hope the ticket arrives in time with all the postal strikes.

I will look at links and blogs later but having had a quick look already there is some fab stuff:T

what have I missed and what is everyone doing with the little tins?

    Yay! :j :j :j :j :j

If you would like a couple of tins I should have 2 or 3 spare I think?
I need to sort out the times everyone is planning to get to the NEC as I have a 3-4 hour drive down  then I need to arrange a time to pick you up! Lets hope I have a car :rotfl:

These are great, maybe tempted to do some, thanks for the links to the tins - rusty and rainmac. What will everyone use for the noses inside though?

Rusty, glad the kids liked the parcel. Hope they don't eat too many at once! I'm sure they deserve a treat after being ill this week.

I am thinking Red skittles for the noses ;) Or you could buy some Red jelly belly beans, there is a seller who sells individual colours on ebay :)

They loved them, thankyou so much! They believe it or not have only had a couple each :D they are normally very good with sweets and things, which would explain why last month I threw away a load of easter eggs and we still have some !! :D

Ive made a new card today and yes its another Christmas card lol
http://paula-pollys.blogspot.com/ What do you think? xxxx

I am dying still :rotfl: even more so that I had to battle into town to get essentials cause we was desperate!! ...with 2 kids aswell  the good news is that OH's car is better :) and we should be able to pick it up over the weekend .... the bad news is that it will cost £625  and now have the hassle of a cmall claims court to claim back the money for loss of earnings and also the £625!!

On a brighter note OH is on a train home .... he is off on Monday and has his motorbike test on tuesday so I have him for 4 whole long days :j :j :j just what the doctor ordered ;)

Lovely christmas card, I promise I will try and call you soon for a natter when I feel up to it a bit more! so sorry about the other day!

Brilliant work all of you :T
    flourgirl - love the little box..............really clever:T

Still trying to work out which glue is best to stick paper to a tin  Any ideas ?
Not even sure what I'll put in it other than a whole load of scented tea lights........its about 9 inches tall so would take quite a few
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all, I feel like I've missed so much today! :rotfl: Fab cards everyone and I'll leave comments on blogs individually ;)

I have a week off work next week! we are going away until wednesday and then I have the rest of the week off at home to craft and get things ready for the kitties :)

I glued a load of magnets onto pegs last night so they are now ready to decorate, the test-peg I made still hasn't fallen off my fridge!!

Flourgirl - your box is really pretty!

Abi - I use double sided tape to stick it down - I put a strip of it under the ribbon on the front of the card, but I position it where I am going to put my image so that its covered, then I stick in down on the underside of the big piece of card where I've folded it over does that make any sense at all??????
  • I've finally got round to the ATC swap on Crafty Place.
I got a bit carried away with some bargain diaries I got in Poundworld this morning.

I also won the first challenge on this blog here - won some digi images - so added some more bears to my growing sloth :rotfl:.

Have been a bit MIA the last couple of weeks as have had to actually go into work so have spent my craft time doing housework  plus the dining room light isn't good enough to see colours properly - sorted today when I found an extra desk light I had forgotten about :D.
