  • Marg - sorry I've not posted the cards yet; I promise I'll do it today! I've not managed to put them on my blog, but there's 5 in total. If I pop them in a 'flat' envelope, they should go through the letterbox, as I've kept the cards free from embellishments and foam tape.

Thats what i did too JHB, seemed weird making 'flat' cards :rotfl:

    Hows the studying going ?
furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D

Alot of us bought the cuttlebug from craft superstore , we got free delivery and theres a code to get i think 15 % off. Someone will post code for you as i always get it wrong :o.. It works out the cheapest, i believe :D

With it you get 4 little embossing 'stamps' and 1 cutting die

    Thanks Choccy.

I knew I'd been away from this thread for too long!

    Anyone have the code please?

CT - No it's not too late! I won't be sending them all off just yet so I'll wait till they get here if you'd like to do some.
I think Craft Superstore do cuttlebugs and there is a code for discount something like 'PC22' but I'm not sure of the exact details I'm sure someone else will have the right info for you soon.

The wife - So are you treating DH to a bag of chips for his birthday lunch out?:rotfl: No problem to go to PO it's a nice easy walk from here - I need the exercise!

Thanks JHB - Our post is silly and doesn't come 'til lunchtime most days.

Crafty people of the world - i need a beautiful solution to lots of paper work. when bills, letters etc come in, they get flung in a pile and sorted every so often, but i am envisaging some sort of storage where by "banking" goes in one box/holder/envelope "receipts" in another etc. but i want it to be pretty - any of you clever types seen anything like this??

Jammy, could you alter something like this...

Think it's £7.99 from Ikea. You could paint it and add labels or cover in scrapbook papers?

The wife - Got it - thank you! Thanks very much also for the 'extra' contribution - what a lovely thoughtful idea!
  • Flying in and out, so hope to catch up tonight and put all my xmas cards i managed to do yesterday on on blog. Just put some post-it note holders on. I am not over fussed with them i think because i used proper beer mats that had images on, the sides don't look right as not white but cardboard colour if that makes sense. Had to cover both sides so used more paper well it is actually thin card and found it a bit hard to cut around the beer mat as too stiff.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Rusty, huge Happy Birthday wishes to Thomas :j :T :j :T, I posted a little something to him yesterday and even though I asked for 1st class, the post office lady did it 2nd class . Didn't notice till I got home and looked at the receipt , so sorry, hope it arrives tomorrow x

Craftygranny, so sorry to hear Kaitlyn is poorly, sounds like she's had a horrible time (and you ;)). I posted her birthday card and a little something yesterday x

CT, I have just bought a 2.5" circle punch from Happy Daze (free p&p for orders over £10). They sell Woodware punches in all different sizes and delivery was really fast too... http://www.happy-daze.net/catalog/punches-woodware-punches-c-25_169.html

I've made a bookmark for the Bee Crafty challenge this week, I love it and am thinking of making more to give as presents and maybe sell at a craft fair (hoping to do 2 before Xmas). Could you please have a glance at mine and tell me if you think people would buy them... http://rainmacsplace.blogspot.com/

Choccy, thank you for arranging the stash swap :D. MrsTidge I will sort your stash out and send off, maybe not until early next week if that's ok with you ;)
