louby that sounds like quite a good deal, I love FF stuff so may have to make a trip to the works tomorrow too ;)
  • Sally - what a gorgeous kitten!! I'm so sorry your brother is in pain.

Paddingtondoo - thanks for the info on your colouring!!

Lei-Armstrong - fabulous mole card - so cute!! How did you stick your letters down????

Mrs Tidge - thanks for the link for the ribbon storage bag.

Rainmac - I ordered a lot of the papers that were already in the sale - mainly boys ones. Then I got a few of the bigger bind-it-all wires so I can make some more notebooks and mini books, finally I got some of the gems, shame the postage was 3 quid, but I did get some lovely papers. It all got sent to my Mums so she can wrap it for me and give it to me at xmas - its an xmas present to myself! Your magnolia card is beautiful - very autumnal! Your fairy card is lovely too, and I love your promarker challenge card - have you chosen your colours yet that you won? Thanks for the link for the blog hop!

The-Wife - very classy, professional one stop challenge card. Your OH's card is lovely as it is.

Myzdamena - great ben 10 card, I love how you've done his name!

Furrypig - what an array of xmas cards - thy are all fabulous - I love your puds!!

Louby Lou-Lou - congrats I've just seen that you've updated you bar thingie and that you've found out that you're having a boy - have you picked a name yet??

PLM - welcome back - ta for the link.
  • No name yet mel there are 3 we like but can't decide. Think hubby really wanted a girl he seems quite upset bless him but i saw it as we are blessed to get pg and have a healthy baby so soon after losing the twins that it doesn't matter as he will be loved no matter what.

I just bought this for my mother in laws bday and tons of other things for me. I can't stop myself buying now lol It's a bit annoying that they don't sell the calendar tabs on-line as well.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30

Just made a card for OH, so difficult as I've done the Harley one (his fave bike) and the road bike and one of his favourite photo's etc.etc.

So here's what I've made. I would really love it if you could leave a comment because it's just seems there's somthing missing, gawd knows what because he wouldn't appreciate flowers!!

I think that making cards for males is rather hard if they are over about 9!! In fact the last 3 males that had birthdays age over 10 are all still waiting for their cards!:o
I really love that card the Wife very classy! Did you use a nestie to cut out the shape?? Getting tempted to get some of those!!

Louby-Lou-Lou - its funny my OH was the opposite - we had two boys already when we found out we were having another boy - OH was over the moon - he said he definately didn't want a girl! Your m-i-l will love her present, it looks like there's loads in there. I just found this goody bag that has the calendars in:
    http://www.stamps.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=11484
looks like ebay has some too - search for calendar tabs.

Thanks Melissa! I've got a Xyron X150 quick stick maker which I ran them through then lined them up on masking tape before flipping over and sticking down x
  • Lei_Armstrong - sounds like a great idea - it would be really fiddly to stick them down otherwise.

Might be of help to some of you ladies, I managed to get some small tab calendars for 15p each from The Works yesterday. Abit dearer than Anita's but no P&P
  • Sally - Sorry to hear about your brother. I love your cat :)

Rainmac - Thanks for the link to the blog hop, I'll be over there at some point today :)

I was busy busy yesterday and managed to make my cards for the troops which are on my blog http://laurenbrookscrafts.blogspot.com

I've been asked to do a craft fair in November and being so close to Christmas it would be rude not to make some of the lovely gift ideas that we've had on here recently. :rotfl:

I'm wondering how much you think someone would pay for one of those advent calender draw things? It will be quite costly to make if I've got to buy all the matchboxes etc!
