    Well done Marg :D .....

If I had to save just one stamp then it would have to be my inkadinkadoo stamp which I ordered from america (thanks THE WIFE) which I used on this card for Hels. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9ChVL61c9a0/SoZocHJxQpI/AAAAAAAAASc/z10on0fBxiM/s1600-h/DSCN3486.JPG

Not really sure why? probably because it is just a general stamp which you can always use? I regret buying some of my magnolias  even some of the new ones I regret already and I am thinking of selling them already

Likewise Rusty, I love that 'Hello' stamp and a flower one I bought in America, can't stop using it in different ways. I've just used it on npsmama's tri-fold card, I'll post a piccy after I know she's got it, hopefully she and Marg will get my offering on Thursday. Off to make a.........???? for Marg's ATC.

Man flu now turned to bronchitis at Boz Towers, my offer of posting an update on the gates like they do at Buck Palace was treated with disdain. I wonder why:confused::confused::confused:

thought I'd pop in and say hello as I haven't been in here for ages, the problem I find as I said to a couple of you earlier is that this thread is always so busy that I find it hard to keep up and theres always so much to read and as I work and run my card business as well as normal housework and family life I don't always have time to join in but I will try promise
anyway its my hubbys birthday on Thursday , heres the cards I've made him
the Dad one is made using a template we bought last week , the one thing I did learn is to decorate the pages and take the photo before you stick it all together lol some of the pictures are a bit blurry sorry
and the last picture is my first shaker card its not perfect but I'm quite pleased with my first attempt

Hi lei , I am working on oh to take the day off on friday we will lose a days money but I would really love to come. If I did manage to come i would be getting the train from watford junction straight through to birmingham which is why I thought of you since its your stop lol x
Hadn't really thought about it to be quite honest! I was considering going to the Ally Pally show put am at my boyfriend's that weekend. If I were to go i'd probably drive but i've just checked and I don't have enough clubcard points so would have to pay full price for the ticket, which would make it quite expensive what with petrol, parking and ticket. Then again OH's Mum would probably be up for going. Are you still keen to go on the Saturday? Were you planning to take the train? x

  • flourgirl my hubby laughed at me i got overexcited at finding the pens too. but he nearly choked when i said oh well they'll be okay as long as i give em a pen that'll actually show up on the post it notes,

oooh got some pink and white small marshmallows in their today too to go in mugs 99p a pack or 2 packs for a 1.00 . Sod's law though they had 3 packs on the shelf .

my cholestrol has settled down nicely now but i think it'd have given my blood pressure a shock the price of those yoghurts .

  • oooh flourgirl i bought the pens and post it notes this afternoon in my asda . Post it's were only 2 quid here too lol.

Well i have now been to 3 aldi's and still found no t bags. my o/h is going to doncaster at the end of the week and he's promised to look there. I even phoned my fil and asked him to look in preston.

I'm a bit worried now i rang my eldest earlier and asked him for some beer mats and he said ok how many a full pack and i said as many as you can get. please tell me there aren't many in a pack. i have visions of him turning up with thousands pmsl.

Not cardmaking i know but for those who do nappy cakes my netto tonight was selling 2 boxes of huggies nappies for a tenner .

Hahaha you are going to hate me ... if he said a pack there are approx 100 in a pack :rotfl: You best hope he hurrys up and brings them over as you will be making calendars every day for the rest of the year :rotfl: ... I do hope you have lots of lovely people to make them for!!!

Again not card related but in Home bargains yesterday they had woolies bubbles, parachute men and the party blower thingys for 19p, 29p and 39p and various other party stuff all shoved in a basket near the cards. They also had the white marshmallows in for 69p a bag, same ones you get from sainsburys that cost 99p but the date on them was december 09 although marshmallows are generally still ok, they just go a little firmer :D

I am off to bed now before any elves make me spend money I don't have!
