  • Well - I sat for hours and hours the yesterday going through more than 100 pages of sale items for Jo-ann Crafts in the US. I made an order for $80 inc tax and got free delivery. It works out to around 50 pound and I have got quite a alot for that so hope it all arrives ok.

I've ordered a Top Score Multi Board, 2 large punches, a wavy paper crimper, 1 box of 70 Indian Summer cards and envelopes (patterned so can work straight onto them like they are backing sheets), 1 Dragonfly rubber stamp, 1 box of 100 paper flowers and 1 clear butterfly doodle stamp. Can't wait to get back to the UK and use it all now.

I went to the Jo-ann store today but alot of empty shelves due to them having a sale. I managed to find 2 packs of green cardstock for 50c a pack, 25 sheets in each and some nice glitter glues for $1 each.

None of the craft stores in the US have anything like pro-markers, they don't seem to be into that here!

Wow! pnor, sounds like you've got some real bargains at Jo-anns, don't forget the dollar store for a peek, they do some fab cheap stuff even tape runner for 60p/$1 or so. Free postage too, always makes you feel good.:D

US cardmakers seem to use Copic markers and like you I didn't see any of that type of pen in Michaels and one was a big store, Michaels should provide refreshments 'cos you can be in there for hours, it can be quite exhausting. I needed lots of Tim Holts coffee and a box of Tim bits (mini donuts):rotfl:

Anyway, i`m trying my best to catch up, so before I say anything else BIG BIG HUGS for anybody who needs them.

A big thankyou to Rainmac for your gorgeous card. I`ve put it on the craftyplace gallery and on my blog, it`s absolutley gorgeous and apologise for my bad photo skills, the pic doesn`t do it justice.
