No... since I've been so unwell recently and not crafting I cleared the table so we could actually *eat* from it :rotfl:
....and I think it works this way.... if you have loads of things round you and are halfway through a card you can see something and think *yes* that would really make the card special... if it's on the shelf you can't?
....I know I've definitely come up with a lot more ideas the past few days since it's started to look like Messes 'R Us again :rotfl::j A-well-a bird, bird, bird...b-bird's the word :j0 -
welcome back npsmama! your blog additions are all so beautiful, and your colouring on tilda's hair is absolutely brilliant, I wish I could do hair like that! I've counted your anniversary card as an entry for the stitching challenge as I can see faux-stitches around the edge and also on the heart stamp she's leaning on
well done the wife on your blog candy win!! :T
gorgeous cross stitched card myzdameana thanks for entering the challenge, that takes us up to 9 entries now :j0 -

I totally agree, I tend to lose all inspiration when I tidy everything up, I need to see pretty stuff all around me in order to craft properly :rotfl:0 -
Snipped:Should we start a going to NEC list? So we have: rainmac, Rusty, Melissa (possibly x), Skiergirl, Hels, MrsTidge, Skiergirl, Gemm, Padster?, sorry gone brain dead who else?

Npsmama - fabulous additions on your blog - your colouring in is awesome!
The Wife - huge congratulations on your win - that was some amazing candy. I've just entered for her next one!0 -
A table you can eat from  that used to be a novelty for us too . Now i have to go all the way downstairs to the basement to craft . We have a craft room between the utility room and what is the back of the garage. It was a random room with no windows and no real purpose but it works fab as a craft room for me and princess k . I'll post some pics on my blog when i get the chance lol.No... since I've been so unwell recently and not crafting I cleared the table so we could actually *eat* from it :rotfl:

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Rainmac - We're probably closer than you think! I'm in Wellingborough, had to nip to MK yesterday to go to Ikea so went there rather than Northampton (I assumed they wouldn't have them anyway  ) The promakers in MK were on the left as you walk in - warning they are right next to the clearance bits!!
I would like to come to the craft show but it depends what day as I'm back at uni soon
The Wife - Well done on winning that blog candy, I can't remember if I entered or not, I remember seeing the link but I always think I'll come back to it later!Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0 -
Well done the-wife, I love it when people on here win things from 'outside' lol.
I'm still finding it hit and miss to comment on blogs, so:
myzdamena - fab christmas cards, I love the image of 2 penguins looking into the sunset. Great cross-stitching also.
skiergirl - Looks like this was just your style of challenge! Your card is lovely, and that picture of The Shambles is wonderful.
mrstidge - I love your double challenge christmas card; the image is gorgeous - can you remember what it is/where it's from?
npsmama - I love your cards, but I have to say that your train birthday cake is fantastic!! I haven't made a novelty cake for years, I want to make one now!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
