Good Morning! It's Tuesday 4th August - What are we wearing today?

Morning All!

Feeling much more like me today! Thanks for all your lovely messages wishing me well. What a supportive group we are.

My friend has the day off work today so it's a drive to a random town to check out the charity shops and have lunch in Wetherspoons (cheap, cheerful and money saving - Martin would be proud).

French Connection grey empire-line tunic with ethnic embroidery (£1.74 Hospice shop)
TopShop Baxter dark grey skinny jeans (£1 car boot - at least 2yrs ago)
Grey patent knee high boots with silver platform and heel (River Island sale in Jan '09 for £20)
Usual Indian tribal bangles and rings
Silver hoop earrings with turquoise stones (Indian market 50p)
Silver necklace in the shape of intertwined filigree wings (Car boot £1)
Vintage 50's large gold framed black cotton bag wih yellow roses (20p car boot)

My hair is straight today - a rare occurrence as it's usually a wavy nest. Wonder how many people will tell me that I look like a 1960's Cher  !

Have a lovely tuesday and don't get too wet xx

Well, can I join in? Maybe I can add something from a Boy Perspective (feel free to tell me to sling it if this is supposed to be girls only!)

    Today's 'ensemble'...

Dark khaki Banana Republic linen trousers, £19.99 in the sale
Yellow Adidas trainers, £25 in the Office sale
Navy blue fitted Gap t-shirt, about £10 with the 30% off thing they did a couple of months ago (and it's starting to twist already, damn it)

Plus a blob of Fudge Shaper to keep the 'do nice 'n' vertical (£15 but it lasts for months) and a squirt of Viktor & Rolf Antidote to keep me smelling sophisticated on the Tube (don't ask)...
"I'm not a one-trick pony. I'm not a ten-trick pony. I'm a whole field of ponies - and they're all literally running towards this job."
    An utter berk, 2010.

White long line ribbed vest top - Dotty P's (probably one of those 3 for £12 deals)
Blue, yellow and white checked shirt open over the top - Dotty P's again (£20ish)
    Dark jeans - Evans (£18)
Black Vans with pink hippos on - Schuh (haven't the foggiest what they cost)

And all accessorised up with a long blue and green beaded necklace, my chunky green watch and hair up in a messy bun.
