Seen an ad on local job center site for above, it says no experiance needed and is shifts between 8am-8pm but could not start till 8.30am due to paid childcare. Part time work.
Does anyone work for them? Any hints or tips?
Have worked in offices all my working life, but after spending over 20 years working for the civil service find myself with little skills for the `real world`
There seems to be alot of care jobs and it is a growing industry, care homes may go bust but there will be more and more of them in years to come.
Any idea how long an enchanced disclosure takes?
Thanks

Hi being a care assistant can be tough work, physically and emotionally but the rewards that go along with caring for people are what makes it worth while. I started off as a care worker 3.5 years ago after my children had all started school now i am in my second year nurse training.

You will be trained up for all the skills that you need. The main requirement is empathy with older folks and some understanding of how they are feeling.
Is this for work in a Home or clients own homes? Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

thanks for the response...and to answer your question it'll be home care so in clients homes...they actually prefer to hire car owners but since i don't have a car i guess will be getting around using public transport...so i'm hoping the homes will be near bus/train/tube stops.0
