Just had the builders round to check my wobbly utility room floor and damp patch.....the whole floor is rotton and needs to come up, he took one tile up and pushed his finger through the chipboard...eeek!

It's the only access I have to the garden so hope it won't take too long to sort, they've said 2 days max just to replace the floor but if the joists needs doing then :eek:

Just need to wait and hear from the landlord and insurance now.....jolly good fun.

Ames-just thought I should say I don't clean my skirting boards every week..nor do I hoover under big furniture every week!
Not much on today-wanted to buy some Havianas yesterday from shop in town,but after standing waiting to be served while the only shop assistant fussed over a precious yummy mummy type buying her DDs first school shoes,I gave up waiting....I rang them today and they are sold ot of adult sizes..bah!
Need to make hair appt for DD, waxing appt for me, hols 2 weeks tomorrow!!!

At work this morning but going to finish early at 1 and go home via tesco to get that god awful job out the way. Oh and to the post office!
BB hope they give you an answer today, how rubbish they didn't bother to phone!

Just a quick one again today, I've had no breakie and I'm starving.

@ bookie - Great to see you back and congratulations. As other people have said, there's no right time to have children really, you just have to let what happens happen.

@ BB. PM for you about last nights pics. They are lovely though.

I'm a bit upset today, James was meant to be coming down to see me but it looks like his dad's thrown out his train tickets. :eek: (and is denying it. :mad:) So I probably won't see him until the end of Aug now.

As I said, gotta go now. Talk tomorrow.

Well I picked a mountain of beetroot from the allotment yesterday squizz so just going to roast that, sort out the runner beans and make something delish with those and chicken for tea? Any ideas??

Still awaiting suitcase - fed up now as need to pick some stuff up from County Office and go to Morrisons. Promised to cook for DD2 tonight - toad in the hole.
Need to see if I can claim any benefits - no idea where to start!
