My local library has had knitting clinics which were fun. I finally found out that I was trying to knit as a leftie rather than a rightie. lol0

Thanks OP, going to have a nosey. I have been using mainly Youtube videos to get me knitting and learning new stitches (could only do plain stitch until recently) and have just managed to finish a hooded zip cardy for my baby. I'm now working on a small shrug for me but it's taking forever, so I'd like to learn a faster way and pick up some speed!0
