Feeling quite positive about it all...

Despite being in masses amount of debt still, this week i'm starting to feel like it is actually managable for the first time in over a year.

We OH had his car reposessed by the HP company a couple of months ago and they have now sold it and he still owes just short of £5000 on it but they have accepted payments of £35 a month on it with a view to increase the amounts when we can afford it. I was so worried they wouldn't accept but over the moon that they have.

We were quite behind with the mortgage and had a letter about repossession but they have agreed to a payment plan for 6 months as well.

Just over a year ago I cancelled all the direct debits from my bank account as we couldn't afford them and as from this week everything is set back up again and I feel like I am in control for the first time in a very long time.

Also at the end of this month an egg loan I seem to of had for a very long time finally ends and saves me £100 a month, which I am going to use to snowball.

Although my DFD is still a while off I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.:j

Hi Tinka. That all sounds really good. Well done on repaying your loan. One debt down should start to make things easier.
