Ex IVA Seeking Mortgage

Hi, i've been out of my IVA since December 2008,after completing it successfully, and are now looking to purchase a house with my partner. My Partner currently owns her house and has a mortgage of about £73,000 with the property valued at £140,000. My partner has a perfect credit rating (we have had no joint accounts). We have a joint income of around £40,000 per year.
We were hoping to get a mortgage of around £120,000 to £130,000 against a property valued at £190,000.
With my credit history is this going to be a straight no from lenders or are there firms out there who are willing to help?
Thanks

bump for the guy..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
