Freshening suitcase / clothes whilst on holiday

Hi! Am going to be in Amsterdam for two weeks from Wednesday and am a bit concerned about keeping my clothes fresh with limited wardrobe space. The hotel rooms have one very small wardrobe and no drawers, so will essentially be living out of our suitcases. Will be putting dirty laundry into tied bin bags, but am concerned about keeping the clothes in the suitcase fresh.

Do you think tumble dryer sheets would be suitable? I know they would give off their fragrance, but I'm just worried about a greasy residue coming off them in the case.

Tumble dryer sheets sound like a great idea to me - you will only need a few shreds. I will remember that in future! I have had to live out of a suitcase quite often in the past and for long periods of time, due to work assignments. I mostly relied on a tube of travel wash and a feebreeze spray.

Why not put one or two lavender bags into your luggage? They are easy to make - just put some dried lavender onto the centre of a clean hankie, pick up the 4 corners and tie around the lavender with ribbon.

They will keep both your luggage and laundry fresh until you get home :)
