Florida - When to book? - Any travel agents?

Options
Hi

I am thinking of going to Florida last week in July the first week in August. I want fly drive flying from Belfast.

Does anyone know if I should wait until nearer the time with the chance of grabbing a last minute cheaper deal? Any advice really appreciated.

Also does anyone know all the airlines that fly direct from Belfast?

Thanks
Jellynose

The following tour operators fly from Belfast to Sanford.

AIRTOURS, DIRECT HOLIDAYS, HOLIDAYS FOR LESS, THOMSON

https://www.icelolly.com usually list late deals. Good Luck.
  • We flew out from Dublin last year, which was handy especially with the £9 AirCoach! I think Continental fly from Belfast International to Orlando, with a change in Newark. My parents are flying out to Orlando again this summer, and I think it was around £450 return per person...

When it was a MyTravel flight, it was only sold by the MyTravel group .. Airtours/Going Places/Holidays Direct etc and they dropped the prices approx 6-8 weeks before departure and the prices varied between each site but now the flight is by Monarch it is sold by more operators eg Thomson and they have also stopped flights in Sept instead of the end of October so demand will probably be higher and you may get nothing if you wait.

Direct holidays are probably the cheapest of the mytravel group from BFS. MYT, Direct and Aspro all use the same flight. Continental will fly you from BFS to any USA destination but its all via Newark. Newark is'nt a bad airport to connect through though. A little nearer the time try https://www.holiday-special.com as they specialise in NI/Ireland departures. Another option would be to try getting a deal from BHX and connecting using BMIBaby, Flybe or BA. They're having a price war at the minute on the BHX route. You can get it from £25 return.

Thanks to everyone who replied. Raymond I didn't realise that the Florida flight had been sold by the Mytravel group.

Jetboy that is a really good website, I will check it out in a few weeks and see what it comes up with.

    Cheers

As you live in Ulster, could I suggest you try flying from the Irish Republic. Aer Lingus do some good fares, and if you fly with them you clear US immigration before you board the plane. Don't know if that applies to other airlines flying from the Republic.

Another option would be to take any easyjet flight to gatwick and then go to florida with https://www.travelcitydirect.com this is who I booked with a while back, prices are excellent.

Have a look you;ll be surprised, how cheap it can be
