we have sold our house and we have put at £250 deposit on a new build. we have a £26000 deposit, so would be at 80% LTV on the house we want.
had a mortgage in principle from natwest, but they are now saying they wont even proceed with the application whilst i am on a probationary period (i am 4 weeks into an 8 week probationary period).
does anyone know any banks that dont consider this probationary period????

Nationwide can be flexible depending on exact circumstances and job type. Teachers for example are usualy ok.
From memory Nationwide go to 75% max on new build - but check with them.0
