Postman Left Me a Slip

Today the postman left me a slip which says
"Unfortunatly we can't deliver your item because there's a fee to pay"
Payment due is £1.17 :rolleyes:
It says that it should be Signed For aswell.
I am guessing its some kind of Competition win as havent brought anything
Is there anyway of finding out what it is without paying for it.
I wont pay for it if it turns out to be something rubbish like an extra thick catologue.

£1 of the surcharge is the RM charge so it's only slightly light on correct postage. If you go along to your delivery office and present your card they'll fetch the packet and you can see what it looks like (you wont be able to open it). If you don't like the look of it just refuse it and it'll get sent back to wherever it came from!0
