DWP EO Interview - Leeds

Hi,

I was interviewed for the DWP EO position on 08/07 and was told to expect feedback in 10 days, anyway i'm still waiting so I phoned and enquired and was told they would be replying in around 4 weeks as the recruitment team were behind..........so today I've looked on Job Centre Plus and the EO roles are being advertised again. How can they be recruiting more people if they haven't even decided about the last batch of applicants yet!?

Just wondered if anyone else that went to the Leeds interviews has heard anything yet?

And also will you be applying for the newly advertised positions or waiting to hear about the original ones?

Hello I wouldnt worry about it they take this long youll have to be patient through this.

The reason why they are recruiting more people is because they need alot people all over west yorkshire. Also people leave their jobs or they put people on waiting lists. I recieved my success letter within ten days but it has taken them about 6 weeks to give me a start date.

Youll just have to keep patient and keep on visiting the forums sooner or later you will hear from them.

Hi i had same interview but on 6th July. was it at raddison hotel?

still waiting to hear back as well, they are taking ages. i was told 3 weeks but its gone well over now.

just read another post from someone who also had west yorkshire band c interview and they emailed to ask how long. the reply they got was that letters would be sent out 10.08.09 (today) telling us whether successful or not.

Hi i had an interview for the EO position on the same day (8th july) at the radisson and had presumed I hadn't got the job as I didn't hear anything and was told I would be informed in 10 to 14 days. However I got a letter on thursday (13th august) saying I had been successful and that they had to carry out prerecruitment checks and would then be back in touch. Does anyone know how long this process usually takes? It's all been so drawn out, i think i orignially applied for this position at the start of June!! But not complaining as i was over the moon when I got the acceptance letter!
