What is it that you want to happen - Keep the house or sell it now. Because I am sure either is possible and you WON'T have to go down the repossession and bankrupcy route. As I posted above if you sell now the Courts have the power to allow the sale. If you want to keep the house, work out your budgets and you are having to keep both names on the mortgage work out if you can rent and contribute to the property or vice versa. Trust me if you are not in a financial quandry now there is no reason for you to end up in one if the situation is dealt with properly.

I know it's a hard (I have some experience in this area) but make a decision (a hard one I know) and keep focused on what your end goal is.
