Just a quick one - when filling in the BR forms online it asks you date incurred for each creditor - should you put the date you took the credit card out or the date you last spent on it?

Hi, loans you should put when you took them out, credit cards should be when you spent the money
for instance if you took a credit card out in 1996 but spent all of the £5,000 limit on a holiday last month then you incurred the debt last month not in 1996Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -

I always put the date shown on the credit report0 -
trouble is - a couple of the cards i've had for years and years and paid off several times - its mostly gradual rather than lump sums i've spent0

Same for me - I'd be interested in knowing how to answer this one as well!0 -
then i would put down a range from when it was last at a low or zero balance up to when it was last used.
eg Oct07-july09Hi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Sure this has been answered a million times, but i can't find the answer anywhere, so sorry to annoy, but...
Where it asks for the name of the creditor do I list:
a) Original Creditor (eg Payday UK)
b) Parent Company (eg MEM Consumer Finance)
or c) Debt Collection Agency now chasing the debt (eg Idiots R US)
Cheers in advance!0 -
I put the name of the current chaser of each debt.Look down your nose at me and I thumb my nose back at you.
