I'm looking to invest in a property development deal in southern Turkey. I have numerous properties in the UK, and want to find the best rate of borrowing on them for this venture.

Can anyone advise?

PS Should I set up an offshore company to handle this for tax reasons?

Unfortunately there are not many lenders that will lend to foreign citizens in Turkey.

If you own property in the UK and have sufficient equity in them, you could remortgage, release capital and use this for your property development.

Do be aware that not all lenders will allow capital raising for property development and for this reason you should seek the advice of a professional whole of market adviser.
